The Identity Parade
A visual arts novel by Simon Miles

Created by Simon Miles, The Identity Parade is a visual depiction of the extreme states of bipolar mental illness, sometimes called manic depression. It traces a course from ‘normality’, through dis-integrative psychosis, to re-integrated well-being that is attained through artistic creation.

Comprising over 300 pages and split into 8 parts, The Identity Parade corresponds with an emotional year in the life of its protagonist, Simon Paternoster in The City of Ov.
